Three of our officers attended the Spring District X Convention; Penny Dalton, Pat Tomek, and Georgia Nickels. While there, they entered the plant competition, and all came away with awards. A good time was had by all.
At the District X Meeting on March 9, 2006 in Forney, Tx, the Blue Ridge Garden Club received its first awards. Thanks to all the members who made it possible for us to take 1st place for the Presidents Report. Special thanks to Al Westenhofer for making the newsletter happen so that it also won 1st place. Go Team!!
