NGC Youth Contests
Promote participation in the NGC YOUTH CONTESTS for this year. There are poster, poetry, essay and high school speech contests. Your club can promote these contests in a school near you. Read the details in your Fall Issue of The Volunteer Gardener. These contests are in addition to the Smokey Bear / Woodsy Owl Poster Contest which National Garden Clubs co-sponsors with The USDA Forestry Service.
Deep South Unified Regional Project - "Protecting Our World - Living Green - Living Clean"

All TFGC members are encouraged to participate. Please remember to report the details of project participation to your District Chairman and Directors.
BOOKS OF EVIDENCE for the "Protecting Our World - Living Green - Living Clean" Project are due to the District Project Chairman by Oct. 15, 2010. The District Chairman must send the winner from her District and the District's BOE to the State DS Project Chairman, Pam Dowd by November 1st. The state TFGC - DS Project Chairman sends the winner and the TFGC BOE to the Regional Project Chairman by November 15th.
