Plum Beach Garden Club North Kingstown, Rhode Island Organized 1927 at Plum Beach in Saunderstown, RI Blue Star By-Way Marker, North Kingstown   The Plum Beach Garden Club’s vision of landscaping and hardscaping the three State owned traffic islands at the "Grand Highway" on Route 1, was completed in October 2009. Member Karen Barbera designed the Islands with a particular focus on incorporating a Blue Star By-Way Marker, a new Historic Wickford sign entrance, and diversified indigenous plantings that will provide seasonal changes and color.
