Pleasant Hills Garden Club
COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Let Freedom Ring Garden
This garden is located at the clover leaf in Pleasant Hills and beautifies the entrance to the community. It is to honor the men and women who have served our country and community. We started the garden in 2006 and it is an on- going project. We are selling engraved bricks that will line the walk ways.

For new pictures of the garden, go to the Photo Album page.

Pleasant Hills Library
We maintain the plantings around the building. Inside, we place designed floral arrangements weekly and seasonally. Also, we purchase books and periodicals for the garden bookshelf.

The club has had extensive shrub rejuvenation done on the front and sides of the building.

Mowry Park Entrance
The civic improvement committee weeds, waters and does the clean up in the Fall and Spring.

The A.W. Robertson Arboretum
To encourage community interest in the Arboretum, members of the Arboretum Committee contribute their time by weeding and planting certain areas,  including Oakcrest Lane and West Bruceton Road. Tours are available for school children and others.
