Pleasant Hills Community Day

The garden club participated in the annual community day. It was lots of fun to ride in the parade and throw jumping frogs to the kids along the way. We also manned a booth explaining what we do in the community and giving away free wildflower seeds to those who stopped by. Below are pictures taken that day.

            

Let Freedom Ring Garden

New pictures of the garden show how it has grown in 2008.  We are pleased with the way it is developing.  A new bench and tree were donated in the memory of long-time member Gayle Weiland, who passed away earlier this year.  Decorative lighting was also donated and the club had a sprinkler system installed.  Charlene and her crew are doing an excellent job of maintaining the garden and soliciting new donations for the brick pavement.  We have received many compliments on the garden from the community.
