ReminderBe a Good Neighbor

Hood River County Ordinance 263 requires that fruit diseases and pests be controlled on host plants, backyard fruit trees and non-commercial hosts including crabapples. Take advantage of the tree removal incentive program and get a coupon towards the purchase of new plants at the Gorge Nursery & Good News Gardening. For more info call the Hood River Growers and Shippers Association at 387-4769. For information on why this is important call the OSU Extension Service Office at 386-3343. Publications on backyard fruit trees and home orchard care are available at the office and on the web at http://eesc.orst.edu/
