JON CARLOFTIS TO SPEAK

         At the May 24 luncheon of the Charlotte Council the featured speaker will be Jon Carloftis.  Jon Carloftis is one of the nation's most popular and engaging speakers.  He has contributed to numberous publicatons, includeing Garden Design, Metropolitan Home, Interior, Southern Living and House Beautiful.  He has apperard on such TV shows as Martha Stewart Living and Good Morning American.  He has designed gardens for such celebrities as Julianne Moore and edward Norton, and is the author of a recent book, First A Garden.  He is the recipient of a landscaping design award given by the museum of the City of New York.  His garden at his farmhouse in Pennsylvania is scheduled to be featured in the March 2006 issue of Martha Stewart Living.

      Location will be The Charlotte Country Club.  Cost of the meeting and reservation procedure will be announced at a later time.
