SPROUTS Synopsis
The NER Unified "Children's Garden" Project SPROUTS is designed for club members to work with children - our future garden club members and stewards of the land. It is our goal that each New England Region state, through their clubs, along with children will reach out into the communities with a youth involved beautification project and a youth educational project. We encourage you to use the NGC theme - "patriotism"
The two projects can be combined into one making the project an educational experience for the youth.
A New England Regional Certificate will be awarded at the Fall Regional Meeting to the Clubs that participates in planting a youth inspired garden, along with an educational exhibit or venture.
Book of Evidence:
1. Description of Project Typed
2. Photo's (in plastic sleeve) digital copy acceptable.
3. Name of Club and school org., of youth involved.
4. Did the project involve NGC theme Patriotism?
5. Newspaper coverage (optional)
Participating clubs must mail a copy by October 10, 2006 to the State Project Chair (if one) and
the original and one copy to
