NHFGC to Host the New England Regional Annual Meeting

The New Hampshire Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. will be hosting the New England Regional Annual Meeting for 2007.  The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 16 and Wednesday, October 17, at the Grand Summit Hotel in Bartlett. There will be a reception in honor of NER Director, Sonia Cianchette from 6:00 – 7:00PM, followed by an “Octoberfest Buffet” The program for Tuesday’s banquet is “Creativity Through the Decades”. 

The Business Meeting and Luncheon on Wednesday will be a Soup and Salad Buffet.  The guest speaker will be Peter Crane, Director of Programs for the Mount Washington Observatory.

 Room reservations should be made directly with the Grand Summit Hotel, at 1-888-554-1900.  A block of rooms has been set aside for this event, but reservations must be made before September 16 to receive the group rate.  Two types of rooms are available, Standard rooms have 2 Queen Beds, and one bath.  (No kitchen facilities).  One bedroom suites, have one Queen size bed in bedroom, a pull out sofa, and a Murphy Bed, plus a full kitchen with dinning table.  The rates are $109 for the Standard and $149 for the One Bedroom Deluxe.  Please mention the New England Regional Meeting when making reservations.  Massage is available and should be reserved at the same time as your room.  Bring bathing suits and enjoy the large heated outdoor pool and 2 whirlpool baths.
