To learn more about planning and caring for our gardens. To conserve, protect, and enhance our natural resources. To encourage organic gardening practices, avoiding products known to be toxic to human, animal, or plant life. To attract desirable wildlife to our gardens by planting appropriate plant materials. To maintain a community garden at Rock Terrace School. To undertake projects annually for children or youth related to gardening. To offer garden-related activities to residents at Rockville Nursing Home. To participate in the holiday decorating of Strathmore Hall. To contribute holiday gifts to a Rockville women’s shelter. To contribute time and money to the National Capital Area Garden Clubs and donations to various gardening, educational, and/or conservation groups as may be decided from time to time.
