The Ames Garden Club is a friendly group,
open to men and women of all ages.
The purpose of the club is to promote interest and knowledge in the propagation and culture of flowers, trees, shrubs and vegetables; native to, or adaptable to this region; to learn of the flora of other areas; to encourage the care and protection of plant and bird life; to foster city planting and beautification; and to learn how to best use our plants and flowers in making our homes and gardens more attractive. Our members' knowledge in gardening range from just a beginning interest in houseplants and gardens to careers in the teaching field and growing of specialized gardens. COME JOIN US!
