Knoxville Federated Garden Club ABOUT US
Knoxville Federated Garden Club sponsors the Bessie Spaur Butterfly Garden consisting of 52 flower garden plots that are tended by 100% community volunteers. See below for more photos. Click here for more information Objectives / Purpose: a) To help preserve and maintain the Bessie Spaur Butterfly Garden, Knoxville. b) To coordinate efforts of those interested in improving and enlarging gardens. c) The development of home gardens. d) To aid in the protections of wild flowers, butterflies, & birds. e) To study in all its aspects the fine art of gardening. Membership: 1) Active Members 2) Associate Members 3) Honorary Members Active members must have a garden or have had a garden previously, and shall perform such duties consistent with the objects of the club, as are assigned to them by the President or Executive Committee. Any active member who has not attended at least six business meetings during the year shall be transferred from active to associate membership unless unable to attend because of illness, employment, or family obligation. Honorary Members shall be deemed to have given great service to the club.
