Welcome to Our Website
The Sauganash Garden Club
Serving the north side Chicago neighborhoods of Sauganash, Edgebrook
and adjoining communities
Established 1965 – Over 40 years of gardening endeavors
Purpose: We are a community-focused club where our members are our neighbors. Joining our club offers a great opportunity to learn and work together to enhance our knowledge and skills in gardening, landscaping and flower arranging, while beautifying our community and local public spaces.
Meetings: Our club meets quarterly on the third Thursday of March, June, September and November, at different locations for each event. We also sponsor additional events throughout the year. Programs vary and include excursions to public gardens and shows, flower arranging demonstrations, discussions, and workshops, garden design and landscaping presentations through slide lectures by professional speakers, as well as club events.
 | Supporting our Neighborhood: Funds raised from club events are used to sponsor neighborhood projects, including the rental and care of plants that beautify the Edgebrook Library, contributions to a Chicago women's shelter, as well as sponsoring and maintaining a local garden within our community. |
Join us! Meet fellow neighbors that share your interest in gardening, plants, and flowers by joining us in our endeavors. We welcome our younger and older neighbors to come join the party by becoming a member of our gardening club. Yearly dues are $30.00.
