Garden Walk:
Our Biannual Garden Walk is held on the third Wednesday in June (every other year) The most recent was held June 18, 2008.  The next walk will take place in 2010.

Funds raised from our garden walks have gone to scholarships and charity over the years. This has now evolved into Merit Prizes for worthy interns at the Chicago Botanic Garden, scholarships to the new Masters Degree in Landscape Design at I.I.T. as well as the funding of scientific encyclopedias and dictionaries to the library at the Chicago Botanic Garden.

The Club has come a long way from the days when chauffeurs deposited ladies with white gloves and hats to enjoy elaborate teas and perhaps hear the guest speaker, Mr. Jens Jensen.

Informality reigns today. Gardening gloves and trowels are more suited to our needs. We are now searching out younger members to add the next generation of gardeners to the club.  Yearly dues are $50.00.
