McHenry Garden Club     Membership        Membership Eligibility   We are a friendly group and welcome new members!  Men and women may join. Residency in McHenry is not a requirement. How To Become A Member l CONTACT US. Fill out the requested information and check the box indicating your desire to become a member.  Our membership Chairman will be in contact with you soon; or, l  Come to a meeting and simply ask for the Membership Chairman.  She can sign you up on the spot! Annual Dues The cost is $24 per individual.  Checks should be made payable to the "McHenry Garden Club", and submitted to the Club Treasurer.  Included in the cost is a subscription to the Garden Clubs of Illinois, Inc. quarterly publication Garden Glories. Member Participation l All members are encouraged to participate in all Club activities.  We rely on our members to plan and carry out the Club's activities and events.  Serving on a committee or as an officer is a great way to get to know other members! It is also a way in which you can further pursue your particular gardening interests!  l Members are asked to host a meeting by bringing either a snack or beverage to one meeting each year.  Members sign up for the date and item they wish to bring.
