The McHenry Garden Club is hosting it's second flower show fundraiser "Container Garden Gala." It is being held at the McHenry High School West Campus on April 24th at 7 PM. Thank you to the following nursery & garden centers for being a part of our show.
On Thursday, April 24th at McHenry High School's West Campus at 7 PM, Theresa Harms and Karen Wheeler of Harm's Farm in McHenry will be one of the nurseries putting together on stage Container Gardens to be raffled off to the audience. The McHenry Garden Club will host the event.
Harm's Farm is located at 4727 Crystal Lake Road in McHenry (phone 815-385-5385.
(Pictured on left: Karen Wheeler and Theresa Harms.) In the past, Theresa and Dennis Harms have generously donated perrinals to the McHenry Garden Club for the McHenry Library Beautification Project. Proceeds from this event will go towards beautification projects throughout McHenry, education programs, and a scholarship fund.

Castle Gardens' two locations at 55131 E. ILL Route 173, Richmond and 31776 Highway 12 in Volo (phone 815-678-7200) will be sending Kim Williams, pictured, to represent them in the Container Garden Show being held April 24th.
Countryside Flower Shop, Nursery & Garden Center at 5301 E. Terra Cotta Ave in Crystal Lake (phone 815-459-8130) will be participating in our Container Garden Gala.
Mike Fedoran and Leslie Rosa will be the designers for the evening. Pictured at the Garden Center is Mike Fedoran.
The Barn Nursery & Landscape Center, 8109 State Highway 31 in Cary (phone 847-658-3883) will be one of the four participating garden centers. In the picture is designer Heather Moister. She will be accompanied by Julie Joyce and Aneida McDermott in the on stage production representing the Barn Nursery. |
