announces its Garden Walk 2009
 FREE GARDEN WALK Wednesday, June 17, 2009 12:00 - 8:00 p.m.
The Council of Rockford Gardeners will be hosting A FREE garden walk, featuring ten beautiful gardens in the Rockford area. The walk will take place rain or shine. An estimated 1200 gardeners attended the event last year. We would love to share our story with your audience. We are sure attendees will be inspired by all the gardening beautification happening in Rockford!

A chance to see some of the most beautiful and inspiring gardens in the Rockford area.
The tour highlights gardening of every variety, including eclectic, traditional, country, and old world, containers, vegetables, herbs, grasses, perennials, hostas, water features, statuary, garden art, and koi ponds.
Gardens large and small. Sun and shade. New and old.
Garden headquarters the day of the walk with maps available - Pepper Creek, 7295 Harrison Avenue, Poska, 2213 East State Street, and Town and Country Feed and Garden, 9515 N. 2nd Streeet, Roscoe.
Brochures available at Arte Verde, Benson Stone, Didier Greenhouse, Gensler Gardens, Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden, Pepper Creek, Town and Country Feed and Garden, and Poska Distinctive Gardens in Dixon.
