Membership Eligibility
We are a friendly group and welcome new members! Men and women who are age 21 years or older may join. While most of our members live in Bolingbrook, residency in Bolingbrook is not a requirement.
How To Become A Member
l Click here to contact us. Fill out the requested information and check the box indicating your desire to become a member. Our membership Chairman will be in contact with you soon; or, come to a meeting and simply ask for the Membership Chairman. She can sign you up on the spot!
Annual Dues
The cost is $20 per individual, or $37 for a couple. Checks should be made payable to the "Bolingbrook Garden Club", and submitted to the Club Treasurer. Included in the cost is a subscription to the Garden Clubs of Illinois, Inc. quarterly publication Garden Glories. Member Participation
l All members are encouraged to participate in all Club activities. We rely on our members to plan and carry out the Club's activities and events. Serving on a committee or as an officer is a great way to get to know other members! It is also a way in which you can further pursue your particular gardening interests! l Plant Sale: All members are expected to participate in the annual plant sale. This sale is our only fundraiser. Proceeds from this sale fund the Club's activities throughout the rest of the year. Participation can be in the form of donating plants divided from your garden or which you have started from seed, serving on the Plant Sale planning committee, or volunteering your time during the sale set-up, working the sale, and helping dismantle the sale afterwards. l Members are asked to bring either a snack or beverage to one meeting each year. Members sign up for the date and item they wish to bring. |
