  • CHICAGO BOTANIC GARDEN: Virtually every weekend from January through October, visitors can attend lectures, workshops, sales, demonstrations, or plant shows. Plant lovers can enjoy the beauty within each plant show, discover the best plant varieties to grow in their own home gardens, see the "Best of Show" plants on display, learn about plant diversity at its finest, buy plants to take home, be inspired to learn a new skill, and have their questions answered by the Midwest’s leading plant enthusiasts and experts. 847-835-5440, www.chicagobotanic.org.
