The Town and Country Garden Club belongs to several organizations devoted to gardening.   For more information on these organizations, click on the links below.

Azalea District - Town & Country Garden Club is one of 63 garden clubs in the Azalea District.  Azalea is one of seven districts in the Garden Club of Georgia, Inc.  The other districts are Camellia, Dogwood, Laurel, Magnolia, Oleander and Redbud.  The first garden club in the nation was founded in Athens, Georgia in 1891.  The Ladies Garden Club is still active today in the Azalea District.

The Garden Club of Georgia, Inc. - Founded in 1928, the Garden Club of Georgia, Inc. is a non-profit educational organization with approximately 12,000 members statewide forming 420 individual garden clubs. The State Headquarters is located on the grounds of the State Botanical Garden in Athens, Georgia.

Deep South Regional Council - Georgia is one of the states in the Deep South Region.  The other states are Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The Deep South Region is one of the eight regions of The National Garden Clubs, Inc.

The National Garden Clubs, Inc. - Founded in 1929, the National Garden Club has approximately 198,595 members forming 6,218 garden clubs in 50 states and the District of Columbia with 447 International Affiliate Members.  It is the largest volunteer gardening organization in the world.
