The Garden Club of South Carolina, Inc. requests your presence at the 80th State Meeting, held at the Forest Lake Club in Columbia, South Carolina. For the first time, this event will consist of a one-day meeting, which will feature presentation of awards, a “Creative Containers” workshop led by Rebekah Cline and the GCSC Business Meeting. Carolyn Patterson, South Atlantic Region Director, will be our special guest. Please note the following schedule.

Please make reservations before March 29, 2010; room block will drop after this date. Individual cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid a penalty of one night’s room and tax.

Each registered guest will receive a deluxe breakfast, complimentary gourmet coffees all day long, and fresh baked cookies every evening.

DIRECTIONS:
From I-77S: Take I-277 into downtown and follow Bull Street to Gervais Street. Turn right on Gervais Street. Hotel is ½ mile on left.

From I-77N: Take Exit 5 (Bluff Road), turn left at light and continue onto Rosewood Drive. Turn left onto Assembly Street, then turn left onto Gervais Street and make a left on Lincoln Street to access the parking lot.

From I-20: Take I-26 East and follow directions below.

From I-26: Take I-126, then take Huger Street exit. Travel four blocks and turn left onto Gervais Street. Hotel is 2 blocks on right.

From Riverbanks: Exit gardens and turn left on Highway 378/Sunset Boulevard. Turn left at US 1/Meeting Street. This becomes Gervais Street. Hotel is on right.
