The Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts awarded the Village  Garden Club the the 2008 Club of Distinction Award based on activities of the club and its members.  The National Garden Club, Inc., honored our club with the 2007 School Garden Project Certificate of Achievement for our youth gardening activities with the students of Esperanza Academy.  Grants were  awarded from the "Home of America Committee" for maintaining two "Welcome to Andover" signs on roads in Andover.

At a recent Veterans’ Day Ceremony, the Director of Veterans Services for the Town of Andover, awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to the Village Garden Club of Andover for outstanding community spirit while caring for the Town of Andover’s memorials.  The Village Garden Club was the only non-military organization to be recognized for its service to the community.
