GCFM Book of Evidence  

   1. Submitted materials should placed in medium weight plastic sleeves (sheet protectors) which are secured in 9.5 X 11.5 report type size binders. NO SCRAPBOOKS, OVERSIZED BINDERS, 3 RING BINDERS OR CLIP BINDERS ARE PERMITTED.

   2. Data to be brief. Neatness and conciseness are very important.  No more than 12 surfaces, both sides (6 pages total).

   3. Application form must be  in duplicate and completely filled in. The description of the project should bea BRIEF summary.  Permanently attach one copy to the inside front cover and paper clip the other copy to the inside front cover.

   4. Materials must be compiled and secured so NO LOOSE ITEMS are included.

   5. On cover, place a label with number and name of award, club, city, and state.

  6. On page 1 list: number and name of the award, club name and address, (no table of contents is required), number of dues paying members, and a complete description of the project.

  7.    Pages 2-12 tells the story of your project to someone who has no knowledge of it. Include:

        a. photographs (photocopying,

           scanned material, reduction of

           material and digital photos are

           permitted)

        b. progressive pictures (before, during

           and after) with captions

        c. financial report

        d. publicity clippings

        e. letters of appreciation from

           officials or recipients.

B.    Club Yearbooks:

   Follow format under Award XIII-B. Send 3 copies to the GCFM office before the Fall Conference. One copy will be forwarded to the Awards Chairman.

 

EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS:  No officer or committee chairman serving on the executive board may receive an award while in office.  (Exception: competitive flower show awards.)
