Design Division One at the 2008 New England Spring Flower Show

March 8-17, 2008   Bayside Exposition Center, Boston

 

2008 marks the 79th year of GCFM Exhibits at the New England Spring Flower Show

Class 101       zephyr Wind

 A Design in the French Rococo manner, 1715-1774, the era of Louis XV. Staged on a pedestal 36” high with a top 14” in diameter.  (4 Entries – Tricolor Award)

 

Class 102                   Endangered Habitat

Club Competition

A Functional Table for Four staged on a table 30” high x 48” in diameter.  Committee provides a neutral underlay to the floor.  Each Club names a different habitat location.

(4 Club Entries – Club Competition Award)

 

Class 103              Biodiversity

A Design of predominately green components, staged on a pedestal 36” high with a top 18” in diameter.   (4 Entries – Tricolor Award)

 

Class 104              Aurora Borealis

A Design staged on a pedestal 30” high x 24” square.   (4 Entries – Designer’s Choice Award)

 

Class 105              Molten Lava

A Creative Horizontal Design staged on a pedestal 36” high with a top 42” long x 20” wide.  To be judged from one side but viewed from all sides.

(4 Entries - Designer’s Choice Award)

 

Class 106A & Class 106 B are created by a single exhibitor.

Class 106A          Meteor Storm

A Creative Plaque on a board 30” in diameter (provided by the Committee).

(4 Entries – Designer’s Choice Award)

Class 106B          Dynamic System

A Design inspired by Class 106A. Staged on a pedestal 36” high x 14” square.  Exhibitor may provide a short statement of inspiration (optional).  (4 Entries - Tricolor Award)

 

Class 107              Tornado

A Multi-Rhythmic Design staged on a pedestal 24” high x 24” square.

(4 Entries – Designer’s Choice Award)
