Sarah Mason Milek – Sarah is a grower, a gardener and an herbalist – Sarah and her artist husband, Gary, have united their visions of art to design and construct their home, diverse gardens, greenhouses and art gallery in an abandoned apple orchard – now called Cider Hill.  Sarah is a graduate of the Putney School, the Brooklyn Museum Art School, the New School for Social Research of NYC and has studied dance for 15 years.  Sarah’s affinity for color, form, texture and movement is reflected in Cider Hill Gardens.  Sarah is nationally known for her dried flower arrangements and wreaths.  She has been featured in Horticulture Magazine and is the first person to appear on their cover!  Cider Hill has been featured in “Victoria”, “Bises” and Family Circle’s Easy Gardening.  Sarah has been a featured guest on VT PBS “Across the Fence” to teach about growing herbs. Cider Hill is illustrative of Sarah’s and Gary’s life long commitment to Gardening and Art.

 

Sandra Joyce – Sandi hails from Hudson, MA.  She is a NGC Master Judge, an Accredited NGC Flower Show Procedure, Horticulture and Symposia Instructor.  She is a past GCFMA State President (1999-2001) and has served on NGC FS Schools Committee as Chairman of Accrediting for Rocky Mountain and South Central Region.  She currently serves on the NGC Flower Show Schools Committee as Horticulture and Flower Show Procedure Instructors’ Chairman and on the Prospective Instructors’ Committee.  Sandi has an AA from Lasell College and a BA from Framingham State College.  She is a Landscape Design Master Consultant and a Gardening Study Consultant.  Sandi has chaired numerous flower shows, including the GCFMA Section NE Spring Flower Show (MA Hort Soc.) and the Holiday Shows at Tower Hill Botanic Gardens (Worcester Hort Soc.) For over 30 years Sandi has owned and operated a floral business and has lectured many groups on design and horticulture.

 

Lynn Fronk – Lynn is a NGC Master Judge, a Flower Show School Design Instructor, and a Symposium Instructor.  She is NGC Design Instructors’ Chairman and Instructors’ Credentials Chairman.  Lynn serves as the Central Atlantic Region Chairman for NGC and Design Study Lectures and Garden Study Lessons.  She is immediate past President of GC of Ohio Judges Council, Chairman of GCO Bylaws and Policy Committee.  In 2006 Lynn received the Mildred Heter Buckingham Award for outstanding service to Garden Clubs of Ohio, Inc.  She is a member of the Metropolitan Columbus Daylily Society.  Lynn and her husband have three grown children.  They are avid campers and square dancers.  A recently retired Pediatric Registered Nurse, Lynn has completed six Operation Smile Missions and six interplast Missions.  Lynn has given programs and taught in 28 states, Acapulco, Mexico City, Guatemala and Guantanamo Bay.  She has made presentations at the National Instructors’ Symposia and the National Symposium.
