"The Clock Tower" 1928 Elm Park, Wellesley Square The Isaac Sprague Memorial Tower, known as "The Clock Tower", was erected in 1928 at Elm Park in Wellesley Hills Square at the intersection of Routes 9 & 16. Since 1955, the Hills Garden Club of Wellesley has been proudly associated with the design, planting and maintenance of Elm Park. Proceeds from this year's "Into the Garden" Tour benefit the substantial beautification project that is now underway there, with the hope that all who visit Elm Park will enjoy a quiet, inviting retreat for many generations to come.
