The Greenleaf Garden Club of
Milford, Inc.

was founded in 1968 
as a non-profit organization and
became a permanent affiliate
of the
Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts
and the National Garden Clubs in 1973.

The club’s mission
is to promote the knowledge and love of gardening and to support garden related civic development in the town of Milford.

We  are starting our new year 2009-2010 at our September 21st meeting with Adriana O’Sullivan with a slide illustrated presentation that will help us select  plants for the garden that are suited for our area. Some will pay the rent by having  two or three seasons of interest, others being low maintenance, and all being drought tolerant.

Our open meeting/fundraiser will be held Monday, November 16, 2009  at 6:30 p.m. Well known designer and humorist William (Bill) Graham will be presenting floral designs for the holidays and will give attendees fashion tips for the same time span. 
         The meeting will be held at the Milford Senior Center, 60 North Bow Street. 
         From points south take 495 north to Exit 20.R on Rt. 85 to Rt. 16,take right and follow to 
         Town Hall. Take left on North Bow St. at Town Hall and follow to end.
         From points north take 495 south to Exit 19.Turn left on Rt 109 for 1 mile, turn left on 
         Rt 16, East Main St. ,follow to Town Hall. Take left on North Bow St, follow to end.

Our APRIL 26th, 2010  meeting  at 7:00 p.m. will be a program presented by Joyce Bakshi who will present a beautiful visual and floral design program.  It will be an open meeting in conjunction with the Friends of the Milford Town Library.

All meetings are open for potential new members for a small donation.
