Annual Storefront Contest
Since 1996, this event has encouraged merchants to beautify their storefronts with landscaping and decorative planters.
Pine Lane Traffic Island
The club has "adopted" this island since 2000. Library Donations
Books on horticulture topics are donated to the Westwood Public Library on various occasions. Colburn School Landscaping
The club has supported the Westwood Public Schools by designing, planting and maintaining plantings in front of this historic building. Westwood Senior Center
Providing flower arrangements for centerpieces or plants for food pantry distribution have been a way the club has supported Senior
Center programs. Thurston Middle School Garden Club
Club members have advised students in the design and cultivation of landscape plantings. Community Garden
Currently planning and fund raising to enable the club to create a resting and passive recreation area that can be enjoyed by the entire community. To be located at the site of the Westwood Senior Center next to the Lion's Club Tot Lot. |
