Boston and Beyond
Thanks to all the volunteers!!!

The Convention 2007 Committee wishes to thank the 1,225 convention attendees of National Garden Clubs, Inc. for coming to Boston and Beyond, hosted by The Garden Club Federation Massachusetts, Inc. held at the Boston Marriott/Copley Place. There was representation from every state in the country and we had approximately 50 International Affiliates. The many tours and informative seminars were well attended and fun had by all. The staff at the Marriott catered to our every whim with New England hospitality, as well as wonderful gourmet food.
The Convention 2007 Committee is also most grateful to all Garden Club Members who have so generously given of their time, financial support, and material gifts. Although it is impossible to list their names, we are most grateful for their contributions in many capacities: painting; hostesses at convention site or on tours; flower room workers; running errands; manning tables; placing favors and designs; handing out table numbers; working registration desk; sharing sewing skills for the hostess scarves; the diligent hours of preparation for the flower designs; making sure all attendees had the proper information and preparing the multitude of other tasks each and every day. These are the reasons for a successful convention.
Our sincerest thanks to The Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc. Judges' Council for hosting "The History of Flower Design Exhibit". There were over 75 museum quality arrangements that portrayed the history of flower design. What an Exhibit!
