The June Meeting/Luncheon is an integral part
of our celebration of National Garden Week,
which was June 3rd through the 9th.

Each year the Boca Raton Garden Club gives scholarships to upperclassmen or graduate students. This year's winner was Dylan Kennard, receiving award
from President Carol Rice.

Carol Rice presented Lou Somerville
with a gift certificate from the members of the Garden Club,
to show their appreciation for everything he does for the Club.

During the past year various instructors presented
Units 1 through 6 of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs'
Floral Design Course.
President Carol Rice presented certificates to those who completed
all 6 classes: Barbara Benefield, Debra Dietz, Marianne Goodgion,
Barbara Horan, Ann Sheldon, Janine Savitch and Evelyn Somerville.

Ruth Roosen installed the incoming officers for the Boca Raton Garden Club
for the year 2007-2008. Her theme was Signs of the Zodiac.
