Meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month from May through October. Meetings are held in the basement of the Methodist Church in Sodus Point, unless otherwise noted. We do not meet in the winter. |
May 13: Lunch Meeting at the Steger Haus. The meeting will start at 11:00am with lunch at 12:30pm. We will order from the menu and we will be in the side room.
Garden Captains: please be ready to give me the number of bags of mulch that you will need for your garden. I will place the order that week (5/15). I will speak to Grandpa’s and see if they will deliver the mulch to each garden. I will let you know at the May 13 meeting.
May 11: Plant Sale Posters should be put in businesses this week.
May 14,15 or 16: Purchase plants at Grandpa’s or DeFishers
Week of May 18: Plant and Mulch all gardens so we will be done by Plant Sale on 5/23 and also have the Village beautiful by Memorial Day weekend.
May 22: Set up for Plant & Bake Sale at the Sodus Point Fire Hall. Please bring your plants between 9-11am. We will then price & organize them from 11-2pm.
May 23: Plant & Bake Sale at Sodus Point Fire Hall. Bring your baked goodies at 8am, so we can price them. Sale is from 9am-Noon.

June 10: program by Mary Moss, Straw Bale Gardening – creating a Raised Bed
July 8: Trip to Pittsford Plaza gardens & greenhouse, then lunch
August 12: Butterfly Gardens & Migration of the Monarch”
September 9: trip to Lagoner Farms with guided wagon ride & creating fall arragement demonstration
October 14: End of Year Luncheon
