District Projects

9/11 Healing Garden -     Planted to remember those lost on 9/11/01, and to honor
those who gave their lives to save others. It is a place for
families, friends, neighbors, and survivors to go
and collect  their thoughts; and a reminder to all of us on
Staten Island of how lives were changed on that day.

Annadale Garden Club - Youth Projects at PS 1,PS 32, PS 36, and PS37 Annex.
The projects are initiated by club members, some of
whom are on the school faculties. The projects include a
"learning garden", a butterfly garden at Wolfe's Pond Park,
and  landscape plantings at the schools, and a Native
Plant Garden at Travis. A very busy club, Annadale has 12
                                        projects ongoing this year!
