January 14, 1:00 pm
Program:  “ Pollinators in Our Gardens"
Jan Weaver, University of Missouri Environmental Studies Assistant will give a power point presentation on what we can do to help pollinators in the gardening world.
February 11, 1:00 pm
Program: “Wow! I touched the Earth Too Much
Kyle Gibson, Dir. Curriculum & Instruction for Dept. of Physical Therapy ,University of Missouri-Columbia will give a power point program on “Knee Arthritis, Exercise, and Gardening”
March 10, 1:00 pm
Program:  “Beyond the Ordinary Plant
Chris Starbuck, PhD. MU Associate Professor & State Extension Specialist of Woody Ornamentals will give a power point presentation discussing the Plants of Merit program.
April 14, 1:00 pm
Program: “Mini Gardens Near and Beyond
Mary Jane Wheeling & Karen Blackmore, Master Gardeners & CGC members will demonstrate how to combine plants in small spaces for a great effect.
May 12, 1 pm
Program:   “A Touch of the Earth’s Beauty
Barb Schuette, Master Flower Show Judge will instruct and illustrate floral design to members.   
Members will do hands-on arranging.
Carolyn Doyle, CGC Flower Show Chair will instruct members on the proper way to groom plants for horticulture exhibit.
June9, 8:30 am
Program: “Beyond Our Garden Gates
Betty Gladney, Garden Tour Chair, will coordinate local garden tours and
provide maps of 5 member gardens.

Meet at 8:30 am at Crossroads Shopping Center for carpooling.  Bring a sack lunch.  We’ll eat at the last tour garden and have a brief meeting.

FGCM Federation Day at the State Fair. 
Enter horticultural exhibits or Floral Designs.

Annual Covered Dish Luncheon
Member Seed & Plant Exchange
October 13, 1 pm
Program: “Tread Lightly on the Earth
Don Whitener, Advanced Master Gardener and Recycling hobbyist will demonstrate turning trash into useful items for the home and garden.
November 10, 1:00 pm
Program:   “Beyond the Bird Feeder
Mel Toellner, Owner of Songbird Station will give information and show products for attracting birds to our backyards.
December 8, Noon
Holiday Tea
Bring finger foods to share, and canned or boxed food for the Food Pantry.
