                 Dottie Howatt (Maryland) received a Presidential Citation
                 for her work on the Prospective Instructors Program (PIP).

Dorthy Yard, President 07-09,
The Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania, receives a check for $200 on behalf of The Garden Club of Johnstown, PA, for 3rd place in the "color Our Garden" habitat for Humanity Landscape Design Contest.   NGC President 07-09 Barbara May presented the check.

Garden Club of New Jersey received bravos for their recent donations to the New Orleans Botanical Gardens ($6,000) and to the Shakespearean Garden in Cedar Rapids, Iowa ($2,500).

    President Onnolee  A. Allieri (07-09) made it a goal that all funds raised in NJ for the devastation of Hurricane Katrina and other disasters be distributed.
