The Arkansas Flower & Garden Show will be held at the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock, during the Arkansas Flower and Garden Show. Jo Krallman, chairman, will be giving us more details soon.

Youth Contests -- titles for Essay, poetry, etc. Click on "more".

Essay Contest - Title:    2010,  "Respect the World Around Us"  

                                         2011,  " The Environment - Our Personal Responsibility"  

 Poetry Contest:   2010,  "Our Beautiful World"  (K - 9th grade)

                               2011,  "Fields of Daffodils"

SCR Essay Contest :  Grades 7-9, 2009-2010, "The Osage orange Tree" , rules are same as NGC contest. Submit entries to State Youth Chairman by Dec. 1, 2009. 1st place winners for each grade will be sent to SCR Intermediates Chairman for competition.

Bird Contest:  Grades 3-12.    Cedar Waxwing and American Goldfinch  -  Deadline is Feb. 1, 2010.

Smokey Bear/Woodsy Owl;  Grades 1st - 5th.  Poster size 11 X 17.  "Only You Can Prevent Wildfires!"  (Smokey Bear).  Or  "Lend A Hand - Care For the Land" (Woodsy).  Deadline is Jan. 15, 2010.
